In June of 1614 Captain Mey, a Dutch explorer, sailed to the New Jersey coast, landing at the southern tip and naming it in his honor! Over the years, the spelling was changed to Cape May, but the Dutch roots live on in several ways throughout the area, including in this Newly Constructed Dutch Colonial style vacation home..

The Maryland Mey is located on Maryland Avenue, just one house from the corner of Maryland and Pittsburgh Avenues, with easy access to the beach. Technically, the house is in the 3rd block from the beach, but in this part of town, each block is only 2 houses long, so the walk to the beach is very short (only 3 houses and a beach-front hotel are between this house and the ocean!) Easy access to nice restaurants, stores and the boardwalk and swimming beach.
