Services Available at our rental properties
In addition to offering short-term rental of premium properties in South Jersey throughout the year, we offer a variety of extra services. Services vary throughout the year, based upon availability and time constraints. Contact info@maryhouse.com or call 610 505 7362 for more information.
Babysitting
We can provide names and contact information for local babysitters. Each sitter can provide information about experience and references.
Baskets
We can put you in contact with a local vendor who will create custom baskets, full of gourmet goodies and treats. (We even had one tenant request an engagement basket, with the ring hidden inside!) A basket can be a nice gift or a welcome treat and can be ready for your arrival or prepared and delivered anytime during your stay.
Beach Tags/Beach Access
No beach tags are required on the Wildwood beaches (the beaches are free and beautifully maintained!). In Cape May, beach tags are required for anyone over the age of 12, between the ages of 10am and 4pm. There are no discounts on beach tags, so you can just buy them as you enter the beach. (we used to provide tags for our guests at no charge, but the city outlawed that practice...we apologize for this!). You can buy tags for one day, 3 days or a full week (which runs either Saturday-Saturday or Sunday-Sunday, to coincide with your stay). Catering
We have a variety of catering services available to serve you. Services range from cooking foods (and delivering them to the property) that you serve, to buffet service, to sit-down affairs that are served by the caterer. Meals, including brunch and dinner, as well as snacks for cocktail parties, even 'breakfast in bed', are available. Bartending services are also available for small parties. Menus and services range from casual to elegant, including beach picnic preparation, barbeque, and gourmet meals!
Cleaning Services
Each house is professionally cleaned between rentals. Heavy cleaning (scrubbing and sanitizing) is included in your rental fee. You are expected to leave the property in neat condition and 'wiped down' on all surfaces. Cleaning supplies are provided by the owner, in the house. We give you the option of requesting the 'wipe down' cleaning (and having the fee deducted from your security deposit). If the house is not left in a clean and orderly condition, the costs of cleaning are deducted from your security deposit.
Concierge Services
If you need help with plans, making reservations, suggestions for 'things to do and places to go', just ask. Information about local events, how to get to local stores, etc. is provided in the house upon your arrival, but we are happy to help with your plans in advance of your arrival. We want to do all that we can to help make sure that you enjoy your stay and get the most out of the area! (there is no charge for most of these services)
Crib Rental
Though cribs, high-chairs, and other supplies for infants and small children are not available in the houses, each of our properties is child-friendly. We can put you in touch with reasonable (and reliable) rental services for any equipment you need and help with arrangements for delivery to the property (as well as pickup). The service we typically recommend is Wildwood Crib Rental (website: http://www.wildwoodcribrental.com/ and phone is 609.522.2724). They offer a variety of equipment, including non-baby items like scooter, wheel chairs, etc.
Exercise
We can recommend local gyms that offer 'drop in' service so that you can keep up with your routine while staying at our houses. We can also recommend local bike rental places, if that is your exercise of choice!
Handicap-Accessibility Services
Several of our properties are handicap-accessible, noted by the symbol on the picture of the house. We have a variety of supplies (e.g. walkers, ramps, shower chairs, raised toilet seats, etc.) which are available on a first-come, first-served basis. We can also put you in touch with local rental agencies for such supplies (delivered to the house and picked up after your stay). Services are wide-ranging and include pharmaceuticals, oxygen tanks, wheelchairs, etc. We can also help you obtain use of beach wheelchairs from the Lifeguard station. Just contact us for help.
House Decoration
If you are renting one of our properties for a special occasion like a wedding or birthday, we can provide a variety of house decorating services for the inside and outside of the property (note: Several of our properties are decorated, inside and out, for Thanksgiving and Christmas, at no charge to you).
House Warming Services
Imagine walking into your vacation property to the smell of fresh flowers, seeing a stocked refrigerator and pantry, having chilled beer or wine ready, and even having some home-made goodies ready for you to snack on as you unpack. We offer 'house warming' services like these and many more.
Internet Services
You can still stay connected, even on holiday! All of our properties offer FREE access to secure, high-speed wireless networks. If internet access is important to you, please ask about specific capability once you have selected a property. See our Internet Page for more information.
Linen Service
Our rentals do not include linens, but we offer linen rentals (sheets, pillowcases, and towels). You can choose from a variety of services, including having the beds made prior to your arrival. See our Linens Page for more information.
Maid Service
Daily maid services are available. Services can include cleaning, bed making, laundry, cooking, etc.
Pet Sitting
Under special circumstances, we can accommodate dogs during your stay. Flea/tick protection is required, dogs must be on leash and with someone anytime the dog is outside, and must be crated when left in the house alone. We do have information about local pet-sitting services who have references. By using a local service, you can have your pet nearby and visit during your stay and they will be very happy (the service we recommend is wonderful.). Photography
We have local photographers available to take special shots of your family trip, at the house or other locations. Beach portraits, etc. are available. We put you in contact with the photographers, who can provide you with work samples and references.
Shopping Tours
With the help of a local limousine service, we can arrange for shopping or antiquing tours, including stops for lunch, or combining trips with local 'pub crawls'!
Spa Services
We can have a local massage therapist or beautician come to the property, set up his or her table, and provide you with a massage while you listen to the sounds of the ocean! We can also put you in touch with professionals for on-site manicure, pedicure, facial, hair, and other services. If you prefer to visit one of the many local spas, we can help with recommendations and arrangements.
Telephone
Unlimited local calls are included in your property rental fee. Long distance phone services are not included in your rental, so please use your cell phone or use a calling card or credit card to make these calls. If you do make long distance calls using the property phone line, the cost of those calls will be deducted from your security deposit.
